Project Recap: JohnTalk Facebook Ads

One of the top ways to get your content in front of your target audience is with social media ads. By having a visually appealing ad, dialing in the audience and putting the right budget behind it, the ad can grab attention and drive website traffic.

This is just one of the tactics we’ve been using for JohnTalk (the content marketing division of PolyJohn) since its launch back in 2018. A recent example of this is a pair of Facebook ads that just went live a few days ago. One ad was geared toward industry newcomers, while the other targeted industry veterans. The goal was to pique people’s interest and get them to click on the ad to read the article.

The tasks for the Adventure team included collaborating with the client to select which articles to promote, setting up the ad images to ideal Facebook specs, writing copy to “tee up” the promoted articles and create interest, managing the ad setup process and providing monthly performance reports.

Spread the Word with Engaging Copywriting

Content is King!

It may be a superlative, but when you are competing in the digital marketing age, it’s true. Your content and copy can put you on the front page (literally and figuratively). To the contrary, poorly written copy can be a debilitating weakness that drains the effectiveness out of even the most well-planned campaigns.

The marketing professionals at Adventure Marketing Solutions understand the importance of content at a deeper level. We know that content and copy must serve three masters…

  1. Proper Language Standards – The surest way to be dismissed is by presenting less-than-perfect grammar.
  2. Persuasive Style – If your copy does not inspire the reader to respond then you’re just blowing smoke.
  3. Search Engine Ranking – Yes, there is a third and very important aspect to consider. Today’s copy must appeal to search robots as well as humans.

Every piece of content we develop is scrutinized from these three perspectives. Getting an “A” in English class will no longer help you compete.
