PolyJohn is a family-owned, international manufacturer of portable toilets and sinks that serves portable restroom rental companies, known in the industry as portable restroom operators (PROs).
The Challenge
Nearly all of PolyJohn’s sales are made to portable restroom rental companies, and the marketing assistance we provide supports that aim. However, in this case, they came to us with a unique request to help them with a project for the retail sector.
The task was to photograph two versions of PolyJohn’s soap/hand sanitizer dispenser, edit the photos, and then design boxes that would grab people’s attention from shelves and share essential product information.
Strategy Execution
PolyJohn manufactures dispensers in black and white. Our first step was to take photographs of the dispensers at different angles to show all key components and features. Then, we edited the photos to ensure they looked as good as possible.
Once the photos were finished, we turned our attention to the box. We developed multiple concepts for the customer to consider. From there, we gathered feedback and modified the design until it was approved.
The Results
After receiving approval, we provided the edited image files and the final box design file to the customer for them to put to use. It was a successful project that resulted not only in great-looking boxes but also a collection of product photos that could be utilized on the website and other sales and marketing collateral.
